释义	蒙文通（1894—1968）现代学者。原名达尔。四川盐亭人。早年就读于四川国学院，师从廖平、刘师培，后在南京支那内学院学佛学。1927年起，先后执教于成都师范大学、成都国学院、中央大学、河南大学、北京大学、四川大学、东北大学、华西大学，并任四川省图书馆馆长。新中国成立后，历任华西大学、四川大学教授，兼任中国科学院历史研究所研究员。致力于经学、理学、佛学、民族史研究。在经学研究上，以为汉代经学就其源流可分鲁、齐、晋三学，以鲁学为正宗；今文学糅合齐、鲁两学，古文学依晋学而立；主张破弃今、古家法，上追晚周儒学之旨；今文学的思想是反抗现实的意识形态。在理学研究上，认为宋明理学是“探究儒家思想之本根”（《理学札记》），伦理道德以自然法则为基础是儒家的本根，宋明理学通过论理气、心性、道器探究到了这个本根；倾向于调和程朱与陆王，“考亭说理在事，阳明说理在心，本无不同”（同上）；试图糅合儒、佛，以为两者都是“率性尽性之学”。主要著作有《中国禅学考》、《经学抉原》、《儒学五论》。今人编有《蒙文通文集》。
