秃鲁花又译睹鲁花、秃鲁华、秃儿合黑。源于突厥语，指蒙、元怯薛中的散班。成吉思汗建怯薛，征调万户、千户、百户、十户子弟及其随从，组成八千秃鲁花。此后蒙、元功臣将帅子弟多入宿卫，充秃鲁花，故亦称质子军。
